Heating installation method of rolling bearing - double bearing

When the inner diameter of the bearing is greater than 70mm, or when the interference is large, the heating method is used to thermally expand the bearing hole, which saves time and effort for installation and avoids bearing damage caused by excessive force. At this time, the heating temperature needs to be controlled. Generally, the bearing is heated to 80 °C, and the maximum is 100 °C. Exceeding 120°C will cause the bearing to temper, which will reduce the hardness and accuracy of the ring.

Commonly used heating methods are:

1. Electric heating plate heating method Put the bearing on the electric heating plate with a temperature of 100 ° C for a Custom Ball Bearing few minutes. This method is the most simple. If it is turned several times, the bearing can be heated evenly, and the efficiency is also high. This method can be used for large and small bearings. .

2. The electric furnace heating method places the bearing in a closed automatic temperature-controlled electric furnace for heating. The heating is uniform, the temperature control is accurate, and the heating is fast. It is suitable for heating many bearings in a batch.

3. Induction heating method The use of induction heaters can quickly, reliably and cleanly heat the bearing to the required temperature, which is especially suitable for occasions where the inner ring is tightly fitted, because only the inner ring is heated, and the outer ring is rarely heated , so that it can be easily installed on the shaft and into the seat hole.

4. The light bulb heating method uses a 50W light bulb to heat the bearing, which can ensure that the heating temperature is about 100 °C. The smaller bearing can be placed directly on the bulb, and the larger bearing can be placed in the conical cover of the light bulb, which can prevent the light bulb. The heat is dissipated and the heating is made even. The conical cover can be adjusted up and down, and it can adapt to heating bearings of different sizes within a certain range. If using far-infrared light bulbs, pay attention to the direction of the light bulbs should be downward, so as not to harm people's eyes with infrared rays. This light bulb saves energy. The bulb heating method is suitable for a small number and not often required; where the bearing needs to be heated, the bulb can also be used for lighting at ordinary times, and no other equipment is required.

5. Oil tank heating method This is a widely used traditional heating method. A metal mesh is set at a distance of 50-70mm from the bottom of the oil tank, the bearing is placed on the mesh, and the large bearing should be hung with hooks. Bearings should not be placed directly on the bottom of the groove to prevent contact with the bottom of the groove.
